Where inheritance meets cultivation

Some of the oldest ideas in human medicine are also the newest in science. Across Asia, the Himalayas, the Andes and the Amazon, fungi and algae have been gathered, brewed, dried and passed down for thousands of years, long before anyone could name a single molecule inside them.

GaiaTara sits where that inheritance meets modern cultivation. Two traditions are at the centre of our work: India's Ayurveda and Korean traditional medicine. Our own cultivation is being built in controlled environments — filtered air, measured light, sterile substrate, documented conditions — because consistency is what turns a traditional material into a reliable one. Nothing will be foraged and hoped for. Everything will be grown, recorded and tested.

Our work runs from research and incubation through to fresh biomass, dried ingredients, powders and permitted value-added products. We are building it in the same order nature does: slowly, from the root network outward.
